Deutsches Dispensary on Second Avenue in Manhattan's East Village

The Deutsches Dispensary, or German Dispensary, is now Stuyvesant Polyclinic Hospital. It was part of Little Germany (Kleindeutschland or Deutschländle), an immigrant community of New York City in the mid-1800s. This building was designed by William Schickel and erected 1883-1884.
