The hundred-dollar fine does not deter people from loitering near the turnstiles asking for a Metrocard swipe.
I don't know the fines for the other violations, but I regularly see all of them ignored. It's technically illegal to clear the train aisles to give a dance/gymnastics performance, then ask for money? How are teenagers supposed to earn money on the weekends?
