I don't think the staff or owners are aware that most American travelers will instantly associate the name of this Swiss hotel with the song "Hotel California" by the Eagles. I could check out, though, and I could leave.
The room had two beds, one single and one double. It was pretty well located for a tourist visiting Zürich, Switzerland, for the first time. The tram and a small Coop store were nearby. The hotel is above a pizza restaurant which my friend and I didn't try.
